Missing cancer medicament, Rama: “The hospital is now supplied”

After a teacher from Rreshen made a complaint to Prime Minister Rama about the supply of Herceptin, the issue seems to have been resolved at the Tirana Oncologic hospital.
Rama and the teacher herself went to the hospital to confirm the treatment of patients who were waiting for this medicament.
“Four years ago there were only 800 packages of this medicament in our public hospital. Now we are bringing 4000, but the demand is even higher. We need to double our own record after we quadrupled what we had found”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister said the medicament was secured through an agreement with pharmaceutical companies, leaving more time to the government to find a final solution to this problem.
