Miners: Hunger strike

11/07/2011 12:00

Bulqize Miners are preparing to enter a hunger strike after interrupting
work for seven days, in the mines of the concessionary company ACR.

The strikers have presented a series of requests to this company, but have not received a positive answer.

Sources from the Mining Directory say that ACR administrators are ready to negotiate, but not all requests are within their competences, as the request of removing the other companies and reducing the age of pension.

But the company was ready to negotiate for the request of increasing the wage at 20%.
