Meta: Reforming the Electoral Code

The head of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, declared
that the Electoral Code needs a reformation and that the elections in
Tirana were a good lesson for any citizen, showing them the value of a
single vote.
“We are satisfied with May 8th elections results, but we will analyze the situation for better identifying our problems. The electoral reform should have started, and it should not be conditioned by the constitutional amends. The basic law of our country cannot be changed each time there are movements of the political forces”, Meta declared.
Speaking in the SMI National Committee, Meta emphasized that the new Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha must concentrate on creating new jobs, because this is the priority of the governing alliance.
