In his meeting with the Croatian President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Albanian President Ilir Meta discussed not onl relations between both countries and the integration challenges of Albania, but also the situation of Ismail Morina, who was detained by Croatian authorities based on an arrest order issued by Serbia.
Ismail Morina flew a drone on Belgrade’s stadium with Albanian national symbols during the Serbia-Albania match, which caused turmoil inside the stadium and the cancellation of the match.
Morina has been detained in Croatia since last June.
