Mayor Veliaj announces construction of modern bus terminal in Tirana

The Municipality of Tirana will start another major project, after the Skanderbeg Square, the New Boulevard and the New Market.

This time it is the bus terminal that will be built at the western side of the city, giving a final solution to passenger transportation through buses.

“We are ready for the Tirana West Terminal. The construction of the terminal for interurban buses will start, bringing a solution to the entrances of the city for multimodal transportation”, Veliaj wrote on Twitter.

The project is designed by the international studio “GrimshawArch & EBRD”, and it foresees modern conditions for passenger transportation.
