Mayor Veliaj: “100 ongoing construction sites in Tirana”

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inaugurated the road reconstructions at the Kombinat Area, saying that this is a kept promise from the institution he leads, intervening with the infrastructure of every area of the city.
Veliaj said that although most people go on holidays during August, the Municipality is working at full capacity with several investments in the suburbs and city center as well.
There are 100 ongoing construction sites around the city and 1600 workers engaged, Veliaj says, repairing not only the infrastructure but also buildings of education and social systems, so that citizens go back to work in September in better conditions.
The reconstruction of the roads at the Kombinat area also involved a renewed aqueduct system, new street lamps, sidewalks, green areas and road sign
