During a debate on Top Channel’s program Top Show, the analysts and deputies invited spoke on the political vote of May 8th.

The political analyst, Blendi Çeka, said that the political vote has remained unchanged in urban areas, including Tirana, while other areas have had changes of the political votes in communes and municipalities.

For the Democratic Party deputy, Enkelejd Alibeaj, the political vote of May 8th confirmed the best governance of the coalition “Alliance for the Citizen”. According to him, this majority is 140 thousand votes ahead compared to the opposition, which can be converted in 14 parliament deputy mandates.

But the Socialist Deputy, Damian Gjiknuri, said that the May 8th political vote is not significant, because a big amount of these votes has passed to the small parties, mainly in rural areas. However, there is a growing tendency for the majority. He also added that the Socialist Party should review the policy that has been followed up to now for the alliances.

The analyst Mentor Nazarko said that May 8th vote is not politically significant, because, according to him, many votes have passed from big parties to small allies.
