Majko: Elections, emotionally charged

Opposition deputy, Pandeli Majko, declared that the Korça district there has been a calm situation, but both camps will be playing a game of nerves until the end.

“These elections are emotionally charged. We haven’t participated in these elections to have the mercy of the opponent. We are determined and have taken disciplined measures for taking the situation under control”, Majko said.

The Socialist Party in Korça expressed its concern for prisoners voting in the centers.

The Korçe district informs that one voting center in the “20 Dhjetori” school has had problems with Democratic Party militants who have pressured people on the street to go inside and vote.

In Plasë, Pojan, the voting process was disrupted for one hour, due to similar threats. While the village of Mollas is voting only for the commune, because there have been problems with the lists for the council.
