The French President, Emmanuel Macron, has promised to offer a firm assistance for resolving the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo, but Prishtina says they are not sitting on any dialogue table without being presented beforehand with a draft-agreement.
“Europe cannot accept a fatal conflict that could be extended in an unlimited time outside the borders of Europe”, Macron said. “France will help resolve the Kosovo crisis and keep the countries on the EU path”, Vucic declared.
The Serbian and Kosovan leaders have met in Berlin under the intermediation of the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and President Macron. The meeting planned for early July was cancelled for lacking of the dialogue between parties.
