Lushnje farmers are once again protesting against VAT.
They have started a two-day boycott by not supplying the market with dairy products, demanding the VAT to be reduced from 20% to 6%.
Farmers gathered from Divjaka, Fier, Gjirokastra and Shkoder, and said that the current laws are destroying the local product by favoring import and increasing informality.
The protesters blocked the Lushnje-Fier road and spilled milk on the street.
