Libohova, slow tourism

Libohova, one of the important cultural and ecotourism in Southern Albania today is facing a very slow business activity.

Known for its magnificent Castle, the Sarays of Libohova Family, the Tomb of Shanisha and dozens of natural monuments, Libohova is facing today a very minimal tourist interest. Those who offer tourist services in Libohova feel desperate today, due to the lack of interest and of a local plan for tourist development.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of the town pretends that the numbers have increased, but there are still no accommodating capacities and tourist services.

Libohova is placed near the Melani Teqe, the Church of Peshkopia and the civilization of Adrianopoli. But in the last 10 years, its tourist management is very slow and there isn’t even a tourism office for information and promotion.
