The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, declared in Brussels that Greece and Albania have taken huge steps on the bilateral talks held this weekend in Korca.
Kotzias declared that he informed EU colleagues, who are very interested in the progress of Albania, that the negotiations were successful.
“We agreed on matters that had been suspended for the past 70 years. As result of this, the Prime Ministers of both countries will meet this Wednesday in Davos, Switzerland”, Kotzias declared.
He stated that he appreciates the fact that the Albanian government is finally taking courageous steps to fulfill what they have agreed about, which should be done by the Greek side as well.
