The leader of the Social-Democratic Initiative, and also Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Fatmir Limaj, said that Kosovo will receive a positive recommendation for the visa-free regime this Wednesday.
He said that this is the reason for the meeting that will be held in Brussels: “We want a clear perspective. Besides the recommendation, there is a long path. Kosovo has not been treated equally as other countries. We are not looking for favours. It is time for Brussels to see Kosovo the same way they see other European countries. We are not immigrants. We want to have our place among the other countries of the European family”, Limaj said.
Limaj added that the current government has started a series of projects. However, the final assessments cannot be drawn by Autumn.
