The Parliament of Kosovo has postponed once again the extraordinary session for ratifying the agreement for the border demarcation with Montenegro.

The session was planned to be held one day ago, but it was postponed for today. However, nothing was achieved and it was postponed to Wednesday.

The Parliament needs 80 votes to pass the law, but they have not been able to secure them.

The Parliament Speaker, Kadri Veseli, asked parliamentary groups to tell MPs that Kosovo will not receive the visa-free travel to Schengen countries if the voting fails.

Party leaders and international partners met this Thursday, but no agreement was found.

The Parliament needs 80 votes in a time when the Self-Determination Movement, with 35 votes, and the Serbian List, with 10 votes, voted against.

The border demarcation with Montenegro is a condition set by the EU before applying the visa free regime for Kosovo citizens in the Schengen area.
