Santa Lucia recognized the independence of the Republic of Kosovo,
becoming the 81st country that recognizes Europe’s newest republic.
The news was announced by the press adviser of the Foreign Ministry, Artan Behrami.
With this recognition, the countries that have recognized Kosovo independence goes to 81. This week, the state of Kosovo has been recognized by Guinea, Niger and Benin.
