Hundreds of millions of Euros is the value of goods imported in Kosovo from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

But Kosovo producers cannot sell their goods in these states, because they do not recognize Kosovo independence, and do not accept products with Kosovo custom stamps.

Serbia and Bosnia continue blocking goods that come from Kosovo, but at the same time, they keep exporting their goods in Kosovo. Prishtina will soon give an answer to this situation.

Trade and Industry Minister, Mimoza Kusari Lila, warned these states with a custom fee of 10% and blocking their goods.

“We will put a 10% fee in customs and if there will be no changes, we will block their goods, as these two countries do with goods from Kosovo”, Lila declared.

According to her, goods that come from these two countries can be easily replaced with products form other countries.

“From Serbia we mainly import wheat, and meanwhile we have asked other basic elements from other countries, like sugar and different materials used in the food industry”, the Minister specifies.

Mrs. Kusari Lila says that Kosovo imports every year goods with a value of 370 Euro from Serbia and 80 million Euro from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
