Kosovo-Albania border agreement

This Thursday started the implementation of the Kosovo-Albania border agreement “One stop, one inspection”.

Based on this agreement, same as in the last summer, the vehicles and the travelers that cross Kosovo-Albania borders will be inspected only in Albania’s border checkpoint, in Morina. The ones that enter Kosovo from Albania will be inspected only in Kosovo border checkpoint of Vermica.

Kosovo Police declared that the inspection with a single checkpoint is continuing normally. The agreement “One stop, one inspection” is expected to reduce the long queues in borders, which were multiplied in the last weeks, especially after the start of the tourist season in Albania.
