Killer mother sentenced to 20 years in prison

Sonila Lumi is accused of premeditated murder of a minor, after killing her 18 month old son for crying.

According to the prosecution’s investigation results, the child was playing in the garden and his mother punched him on the chest for getting his clothes dirty, causing him internal bleeding.

After the injured baby unstopping cries, she suffocated him for not being able to put up with the baby’s cries, leaving him dead.

The prosecutor said that the autopsy results indicate that the child has died from asphyxia, suffocated by his mother, who left her fingerprints on the baby’s neck. The mother doesn’t show any sign of regret.

The prosecutor Julian Kristo demanded 20 years in prison over the premeditated murder charges, but the court’s decision has been postponed, since the defendant had not concluded the arguments.
