Justice Ministers, cooperation memorandum between Albania and Italy

A priority of this cooperation, according to the memorandum signed between Ministers Andrea Orlando and Etilda Gjonaj, will be the cooperation and mutual judiciary assistance in the fight against organized crime, terrorism and money laundering.

The two ministers aim to establish cooperation especially as regards procedures for identifying and confiscating assets owned by criminals, but also to have better cooperation between prisons when transferring convicts, and even to train the prison staff.
