The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, will arrive this Sunday in Tirana, where he will be received by Prime Minister Edi Rama with a military ceremony.
Rama and Juncker will have a joint conference at 19:15, while the meeting with President Ilir Meta will be held on Monday.
The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, and the Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, will visit Tirana as part of their tour in the six Western Balkan countries. Their message will focus on encouraging implementation of the reforms needed for EU accession.
The agenda foresees discussing the Western Balkan enlargement strategy with political leaders and members of the civilian society.
The meeting will focus on reforms and conditions established by Brussels for Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
