The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, approved Vitore Tusha as the candidate for the Supreme State Audit.

The Presidency declared that she was seen as the most suitable person for this post.

But who is Vitore Tusha?

She has been a member of the Constitutional Court since 2008, and also a member of the Council of Justice Appointments.

She graduated in 1983 at Tirana’s law school, and in 1995 she rejected the request of Albania’s former Socialist Prime Minister, Fatos Nano, for being released from prison before his sentence was due.
