Japan to assist with vehicles for cleaning Tirana parks

The project for creating new parks requires frequent cleaning as well. For this reason, the Municipality of Tirana has signed an agreement with Japan, which will allow more cleaning vehicles and equipment.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, thanked the Japanese government for this support.
“I am happy that we are taking a very precious donation for the Agency of Parks and recreation. The best evaluation for Tirana’s parks doesn’t come from me, as Mayor, but from foreigners. They notice what agencies give a better performance, and they want to cooperate with the best. APR is a success story for the Tirana Municipality. I am happy that thanks to this donation their work is going to be easier”, Veliaj said.
The Japanese ambassador to Albania, Makoto Ito, valued the work that is being done by the Municipality of Tirana for the Orbital Forest. He said that the project allows an improvement of the city’s environment.
