All General Prosecutors and those of the Constitutional Court will go through the Vetting Law, confirmed the chairwoman of the International Monitoring Operation, Genoveva Ruiz Calavera.

In an interview for Deutsche Welle, the Spanish EU official, who will help vetting the Albanian justice, said that the quality of the vetting law will be more important than the process speed.

“The Vetting Law is about the future of the people. We want to be sure that the entire work done by the institutions will be very honest and balanced”, she said.

Calavera says that she is happy that the verification has started and it will open another door for Albania, the progress with the EU integration.

As for the deadlines, she prefers to not say if it will be complete next Spring or later because it really depends on the Vetting Process and five priorities.
