Infrastructure Minister inspects waste management implant in Elbasan

The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, inspected the waste incinerator that produces energy in Elbasan, where he said that the investment has given a solution to the city’s waste pollution.
“Anyone who is interested should visit the plant and see how there are no emissions. This is a closed technological process without environmental problems. It is a new technology and best solution for treating waste in Albania”, Gjinkuri declared.
The incinerator is managing the waste of Elbasan, Cerik and some administrative units.
Another one is being built in Fier. The capital will also have its own.
