The House of Abati in Shkoder was the headquarters of the “Bashkimi” association, which created the Albanian alphabet we use today.
The Minister of Culture visited the house of Abat Doci, an object of important cultural and historic values, which is now under the protection of the ministry.
The ownership status of this building is still unclear, but regardless, the ministry of culture has started talks with whoever is holding the keys.
The Minister added that any cooperation is important for restoring this building.
