The High Council of Justice suspended Judge Shkelqim Miri, who was arrested a few days ago in Tirana for corruption.

The HCJ  suspected that Miri had altered a verdict by releasing Gentian Doda, in exchange of 20.000 EUR.

For this reason, the HCJ reviewed the case of the judge and suspended him until the trial is over.

The HCJ meeting continued behind closed doors.
