Harsh reactions in Kosovo against the Mini Schengen

The political leaders in Kosovo refuse to be part of the “Mini Schengen” project, which means a joint economic area between Western Balkan countries, which has been so far agreed on by Albania, Northern Macedonia, and Serbia.
President Hashim Thaci said that Serbia has intentionally left Kosovo out when the first meeting was held, and secondly, Kosovo’s only orientation remains the EU and NATO accessions. Thirdly, according to Thaci, this regional initiative is senseless as long as Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina don’t recognize the independence of Kosovo.
The leader o the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, which will be part of the new government, said that the Mini-Schengen project is just a new Yugoslavia.
