Hahn: “Spain will recognize Kosovo if it finds agreement with Serbia”

“The EU’s common opinion regarding the Balkans is that we will either export stability, or we don’t import destabilization. Experience shows that stable peace in Balkan could be reached only through the European perspective. We published our strategy for Balkan last February, and its main conclusions show that we will only accept new countries that have resolved bilateral issues with their neighbours”, Hahn said for El Pais.

Hahn declared that this is the reason why it is necessary to reach a legal agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which is vital for the region.
