Hahn meets President Meta, but not opposition leader Basha

Before meeting with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, commissioner Hahn was received by the Albanian President, Ilir Meta, at his office.
Meta expressed his gratitude for the engagement of the EU Commissioner for Good Neighboring Policies and Enlargement Negotiations, encouraging him to continue with the negotiations.
“All inclusiveness and credibility are key elements for the successful progress of the reforms”, Meta said, adding that the attention of the EU to Western Balkan in the past three months clearly shows the European perspective of the region.
Besides the President, Hahn met with the Albanian Prime Minister, but not with the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha. In Macedonia, on the other hand, he met all party leaders, but not with President Ivanov.
