The EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, appealed Kosovo politicians to resolve the bilateral matters with Serbia.
Hahn referred especially to the tax imposed by the Kosovo institutions to the products coming from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
“We are working to remove trade barriers. Kosovo has contributed a lot. They have cooperated in many areas in the regional economic region, such as CEFTA. We were all surprised and disappointed when they imposed Customs fees against Serbia. This should not continue. We should focus on the above-mentioned areas. We know about the current difficulties in the market. I have always proposed to focus on a solution”, Hahn said.
