The Foreign Minister of Greece declared that his country is in favor of opening the EU accession negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia.
There is a positive change in the course of Athens.
Miltiadis Varvitsiotis made it clear that the southern neighbor cannot accept that Albania and Northern Macedonia are treated differently.
For Greece, due to the presence of the Albanain element in the region, opening the EU accession negotiations talks with only one country could make way for destabilization.
Varvitsiotis admitted that Greece is in favor of giving the green light to both countries, as Athens, according to him, has always supported the European enlargement policy with the Western Balkan countries.
