Government didn’t raise taxes for casinos

After the government decided to close betting shops and move casinos to 5-star hotels in tourist areas, the Chairman of the Commission of Economy, Erjon Brace, proposed higher taxes for casinos as well, by doubling them.
But the Parliament didn’t vote the law to double taxes for casinos in 5-star hotels.
“We are making this law to attract 5-star hotels because we don’t have any”, Rama said.
