Gjinar included in the “100 villages” project

Gjinar, a mountainous village 23 kilometers from Elbasan, is frequented every season by tourists.Homes and hotels are already offering a great experience.

Family tourism is expected to get a boost after the “100 Villages” project, which will assist the infrastructure of 100 Albanian villages in order to improve tourism experiences.

The lack of activities and investments is still keeping young visitors away, and the area is mostly visited by older generations or families with young children, who want some moments of quiet relax.
