The German Federal Government said that the country needs 25.000 nurses for taking care of older people.

To resolve this situation, Germany will engage foreign nurses. The German Health Minister, said that they have turned their eyes to Albania and Kosovo for this.

The daily German newspaper, Bild, visited a training school in Prishtina, managed by a German business family.

“Their preparation is better than we think”, Spahn said. “But here are huge problems with the visa system”.

The CDU politician said that it is hard to understand that these people, who have graduated from schools, have to wait up to 10 months for a German visa travel. “This procedure needs to be accelerated, together with the recognition of the reforms”, the Minister declared.
