“Gerdeci” trial copies “Meta video” trial

Referring to a decision of the Supreme Court for the “Ilir Meta” case, in which the expertise of the US expert Glenn Bart was considered invalid, since the expert was called in against the Criminal Procedure Code, lawyer Gezim Veleshnja requested the rejections of all expertises performed and having them repeated.

Among them is the expertise of the US experts who identified the causes of explosion in Gerdec, and also the expertise of the financial bill for the damages caused by the tragedy of 15 March 2008.

The lawyer also demanded investigative expertise for specifying the causes of the explosion that took 28 lives and wounded many others.

Mr. Veleshnja continued with his requests, insisting to appeal all witnesses that the Prosecution refused to hear.

For all these requests, the court will rule in the next session. The most delicate decision will be the one on the experts, which says that if the request will be accepted, the process turns at the initial point.
