Former Prosecutor General Llalla, 15 years out of the judiciary system

The Independent Commission of Qualification published the arguments why they interrupted the Vetting Process against the former Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla.

Considering the resignation as the only way to interrupt the Vetting procedure, the Commission says that Llalla has lost the right to become part of the justice system for the next 15 years.

Llalla’s resignation from the judiciary system brought an immediate reaction by the US Ambassador on Twitter: “The decision is personal but having any corrupted and incapable Prosecutor away from the judiciary, that’s a victory in the battle for a better justice system. They will not be able to return for 15 years. But resignation doesn’t clean them from possible criminal responsibilities for corruption or power abuse. Those who fear the Vetting Law should also fear criminal investigation”, the Ambassador declared.
