Final voters’ list, 3.164.859 voters

Interior vice Minister, Ferdinand Poni, said that this list has 20,000 names less than the preliminary list.

“The final list has almost 20,000 names less than the preliminary one, after a thorough cleaning of the names that appeared twice. We removed the names of people who resulted more than 100 years old also of those who have changed citizenship, making this a list of high standards”, Poni declared.

According to Poni, this final list has been sent to all Zonal Commissions of Election Administration, except of four small communes. According to him, 24 hours after Zonal Commission’s approval, the final list will be uploaded online.

“As soon as the lists will be officially approved by the Commission’s chairmen, electronically and by written form, we will upload them on the internet. We are committed to guarantee a maximal accessibility of this list for everyone, within the provisions of the agreement that the political parties signed”, Poni emphasized.

The opposition has raised frequent concerns on voters’ lists manipulation, and recently also on their delay on publishing them within legal deadlines.
