EULEX: We can investigate organ traffick

The head of the EULEX Mission Justice Section, Silvio Bonfigli,
declared that the European Mission has all capacities and competences
for investigating the traffic of human organs pretended by Dick Marty.
“For crimes and victims from Kosovo, our mission has the means and exclusive responsibility for investigating”, Bonfigli declared.
According to him, the European Mission is able to investigate cases of corruption and organized crime.
Bonfigli rejected declarations saying that EULEX does not have the competences for investigating crimes outside Kosovo, emphasizing that the Mission is currently investigating also such crimes.
He also rejected pretenses that there is no witness protection, specifying that for this case they have established a special system.
