The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini, met in Brussels with the Prime Ministers of Western Balkan, to discuss the situation and possibilities for progressing with the European integration of the region.
The Prime Ministers have confirmed their complete commitment to continue with the EU integration.
2018, the announcement specifies, will offer a special opportunity for Western Balkan and its path of irreversible steps towards the EU, with the condition that government give priority to the reforms, especially as regards the rule of law and basic rights.
Mogherini underlined the need for all regional leaders to accelerate their essential reforms for their cities and take concrete steps for the European integration.
The EU Chief Diplomat had separate meetings with the Prime Ministers of Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia Herzegovina.
