Socialist MP Erjon Braçe denounced the new energy billing scheme from
CEZ Company, which, according to him, is applying higher prices also for
the consumption of less than 300 KHW per month.
“There is a new billing scheme that is being based on the consumption of each day, and not for the entire month. What has happened is very serious. The bills were not charged for 30 days, but for 21, 22 or 34 days”, Braçe declared.
CEZ reacted by saying that the new formula which is based on a daily consumption enables a better billing for the consumers.
According to CEZ, this formula avoids the negative impact that is created for billings made in periods of time that are longer or shorter than 30 days.
According to the company, the 300 KWH per month is equal to 10 KWH per day.
From this day on, according to CEZ, the total sum will be measured based on the number of days between the bills.
