More than 1.3 million Kosovo citizens voted this Sunday for the runoff local elections in 18 communes
The elections were canceled in the Serbian-majority commune of Partesh, due to irregularities.
CEC has given preliminary results for Kosovo’s capital, Prishtina, which reconfirms Self-Determination Movement’s Shpend Ahmeti as winner;
Mitrovica confirms the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) winner, Agim Bahtiri;
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, (AAK) in Gjakova,
Self-Determination Movement has won in Prizren.
More than 12,000 local and international observers have followed the process.
Contacted by Top Channel, the Chairman of the Kosovo Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, declared that the voting process was calm and without incidents that could damage the elections’ integrity.
