To help residents from flooded areas, the “Dritan Hoxha” foundation, the Municipality of Tirana, Telekom Albania and Balfin Group invite the public in a fund-raising campaign.
Besides the funds that will be offered by these partners, any citizen can contribute by sending SMS messages to 55099, from any cellular operator.
The cost of this message is 100 ALL, plus the normal fee of the operator. The funds will be added to the money offerd by the partners, and will be distributed to affected families.
In 2015 there were 4700 homes that were damaged, or seven times more than in 2015. Also 40 businesses, 56 schools and 65 bridges.
