The Serbian nationalist Vuk Drashkovic declared that Serbia has lost
Kosovo and appealed the Serbian political class to focus on implementing
the Ahtisari plan that has to do with Kosovo Serbs.
“We must preserve what we have and we all know that Serbia has no power or sovereignty in Kosovo”, Drashkovic declared in an editorial.
He underlined that in Kosovo’s external borders with Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia there are no Serbian border guards, and no Serbian symbols.
“We all see that the king is naked, but the red line demands us to preserve the non-existent clothes and abandon EU, where there are clothes, if we will be asked to give up from Kosovo royal clothes, which do not exist”, he added.
Drashkovic, once a noted ultranationalist of the Serbian policy has been opposing Belgrade’s policies on Kosovo for a long time, which, according to him, has been detached from Serbia since a long time ago.
