The Democratic Party declared that the Central Election Commission
process is transparent, and that the opposition is trying to throw mud
on it.
“Edi Rama accused CEC of manipulating the process. There are no manipulations, except the fact that today, as the entire public saw, a Socialist Party observer tried to manipulate the process by breaking a ballot box. Every Albanian was able to see it with their eyes, live on TV. Every Albanian is waiting with calm and patience the electoral process to end”, declared Spokesperson Jorida Tabaku.
For the majority, the process is more important than the result.
“The international community is asking all of us to act with maturity and to calmly wait the conclusion of the process, by respecting the decisions of the institutions. The only one who opposes this is Mr. Rama. This process is more important than the winner or the loser. This process is about a basic standard of free elections, for hearing the voice of every citizen”, Tabaku underlined.
