The Deputy Prime Minister of Albania, Erion Brace, said for Top Channel that the state institutions are standing by to help citizens in need.
“Earthquakes cannot be predicted. The emergencies are prepared to assist our citizens. The Ministry of Defense is making available all of the vehicles for any emergency”, Brace said.
“There is panic. Such an earthquake is usually followed by several tremors, which took place within 2-3 hours. IGJEUM has not considered this a dangerous one, because it’s not above the Magnitude 6 of the Richter scale”, Brace declared.
