The Democratic Party has organized protests in several cities, from Durres and Shkoder to Lushnje and Berat. The protesters blocked the national roads, demanding the government to lower the gas price.
Citizens say they are protesting the high price of gas, the lack of a market for their products, and they also support the students in Tirana.
The situation has been more problematic at the Durres-Tirana road, where protesters created a very long queue of traffic.
