Democratic Party leader: “Our MPs will hand over mandates for their parliamentary seats”

The Democratic Party MPs have unanimously agreed to burn their mandates for their parliamentary seats.

“The Parliamentary group of the Democratic Party decided to burn their parliamentary mandates in this Parliament that has been created through the votes of crime and mafia, in the manipulated elections of June 25th, 2017. With this decision, we support a political solution offered by the united opposition for a transitory government”.

Among the Democrats there were many who were skeptical. Myslym Murrizi said that the opposition has tried it before to burn the mandate and didn’t reach anything.

Flamur Noka, on the other hand, went even further. He said that the right-wing mayors should also leave their mandates.
