Mihal Delijorgji cleared himself from all responsibilities for the charges brought against him for mass murder as a physical person.

Delijorgji declared in the court where he was appearing for the first time, that
his only responsibility was making investments in Gerdec. The
equipments and the dismantling process was a contractual obligation of
his American partner, Patrick Henry.

Delijorgji explained that he met most of the Generals that are accused
in this process, but only because he knew them as a long time
subcontractor at the Defense Ministry, with the company “Perparimi
j.s.c.” The first interrogation involved only accusations against him as a
person. He accepted to answer only to questions that were addressed to
him as the administrator of Albdemil.

Regarding his individual efforts for winning the dismantling contract
with the Albanian government, the accused categorically denied any
involvement, clarifying that every contact was established by the American
Patrick Henri.

To the accusations that the company was created before
the American partner won the contract, Delijorgji explained that
registering a company in Albania costs only 10,000 ALL and for him there
were no economic losses, even if Patrick Henri would fail to win the
dismantling rights.

According to Delijorgji, Patrick Henri was the one who contacted him for
partnership in this business. According to the accused, the US
businessman had told him that he had been attempting for 18 months to get
the contract, since the first time that Delijorgji had met him.

When
asked why Delijorgji would take 67 of the profits, twice more than
Henri, he explained that his share of the investments was much more
higher than the equipments that Henri would rent, and because
Delijorgji was supposed to make all ammunition payments to MEICO.
