Court of Serious Crimes leaves in power the travel ban order for former Minister Tahiri

The former Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, was seen today at the Court of Serious Crimes, together with his lawyer, Max Haxhia.

After the Court decided to leave in power the order for not allowing Tahiri to travel abroad, lawyer Haxhia said that they will challenge the order at the Court of Appeal.

“The Court has turned into a notary of the Prosecution. There is no evidence for taking such measure, no risk that Tahiri could leave”, his lawyer said.
