The delegate of Catherine Ashton for the dialogue between Kosovo and
Serbia, Robert Cooper visited today Prishtina and discussed with Kosovo
authorities about the next dialogue round between both countries.
The news comes from Kosovo media, which say that after the meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and the negotiator Edita Tahiri, Cooper left without releasing any press declaration.
However, in a later appearance, the Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci explained that they talked about the topics that will be discussed in the dialogue round of September 2nd, in Brussels.
“It was a preliminary meeting for the talks that will be held on September 2nd, where will be expressed Kosovo’s stance, which will surely find harmony with the stances of the EU delegate”, Kuci declared.
The EU negotiator visited Belgrade yesterday, where he discussed with the Serbian authorities for the same subject.
